About this site

Privacy policy

This page explains what this site collects, which is very little, and what it does not collect, which is most things. It also sets out the Australian Privacy Act 1988 as the framework we work within and how to ask for anything held about you to be removed.

What we don't collect about you

This is a static site. There is no sign-up, no login and no account area, so nothing here asks you for your name, your date of birth, your address or your identification. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

We do not run a cashier and we do not process deposits or withdrawals. Any account, verification or payment step happens with our partner on their own site, under their own privacy terms, not ours. Nothing you type into their forms passes through this site.

Analytics and cookies on this site

Like most sites, this one may use analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. That kind of measurement is about pages and sessions, not about you as a person: it can show that a page was opened, roughly where in Australia the request came from, and what kind of device was used.

Cookies, if present, are small files a browser stores so a site can remember repeat visits or measure traffic. They are not used here to build a profile of you or to ask for contact details. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and the pages should still read normally.

What the Privacy Act lets you do

The Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles are the framework we work within. In plain terms, that means we only hold what is needed to run and measure a static site, we do not sell personal information, and we do not keep it longer than the purpose requires.

If you believe something held about you is wrong, or you want it removed, you can ask. Because we collect so little, there may be nothing to find, but we will tell you either way. If you are not satisfied with the response, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner handles privacy complaints.

Questions

Do I need to give you my details to read this site?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no form asking for personal information, so you can read every page without identifying yourself. Anything you enter on our partner's site is handled by them under their own privacy terms.

How do I ask for information held about me to be removed?

Write to the editorial desk using the contact details on this site and say what you want checked or deleted. We will look at what is actually held, tell you what we find, and remove it where we can.
